Experienced Certified Medical Assistant who is comfortable using EclinicalWorks, not afraid to ask questions when learning something new, and following up with patients. Responsibilities include:

  • Patient check in: confirming reason for patient visit, accurately taking and recording vitals, reviewing medications
  • Preparing patient letters.
  • Chart Preparation prior to appointment.
  • Answering and/or returning patient phone calls, emails and messages.
  • Completing PA's and appeals for neurology providers.
  • Triage virtual patients.
  • Relaying information from patients to physicians and to patients from the physician.
  • Any other duties assigned, as needed, to ensure an efficient follow of the neurology clinic.

Qualifications include:

  • Background in Neurology Pediatrics, and/or Sleep Medicine is a plus.
  • Bi-lingual Spanish a plus.
  • Minimum of two-year experience using electronic medical records - eClinical Works is a plus

Medical Specialty:

  • Neurology

Schedule:

  • 8-hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends

Experience:

  • eClinicalWorks: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Certified Medical Assistant: 3 years (Preferred)

  • Controlled and Non-control prescription refills: 2 years (Preferred)

Language:
