Responsibilities include:
- Patient check in: confirming reason for patient visit, accurately taking and recording vitals, reviewing medications
- Preparing patient letters.
- Chart Preparation prior to appointment.
- Answering and/or returning patient phone calls, emails and messages.
- Completing PA's and appeals for neurology providers.
- Triage virtual patients.
- Relaying information from patients to physicians and to patients from the physician.
- Any other duties assigned, as needed, to ensure an efficient follow of the neurology clinic.
Qualifications include:
- Background in Neurology Pediatrics, and/or Sleep Medicine is a plus.
- Bi-lingual Spanish a plus.
- Minimum of two-year experience using electronic medical records - eClinical Works is a plus
Medical Specialty:
- Neurology

Schedule:
- 8-hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
Experience:
- eClinicalWorks: 2 years (Preferred)
- Certified Medical Assistant: 3 years (Preferred)
- PA's and Appeals: 3 years (Preferred)
- Controlled and Non-control prescription refills: 2 years (Preferred)
Language:
- Spanish (Preferred)
License/Certification:
