Administrative Assistant- Legal Department- Telcom/Broadband

Legal Specialist: will coordinate and manage the company’s Public Inspection File (PIF) as well as all home security & automation licensing requirements. Will also assist in ensuring that the company operates in accordance with applicable local, state, and federal statutes and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage updates to the company’s Public Inspection Files
- Ensure effective organization, timely execution, and submission of Public Inspection Files
- Oversee and review all Home Security and Automation compliance issues across the organization
- Perform compliance-related administrative tasks such as performing data entry, filing legal paperwork, and handling phone and email correspondence
- Work with government and state and federal agencies as required, including submitting applications, answering questions, and providing information to agencies
- Oversee railroad crossing permitting and certification of insurance requests, as needed
Requirements: • Associate degree in a related field, required
- 2 years of experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, home automation and security, or related field
- Experience working in the cable/broadband industry is a plus • General computer proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Acrobat
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8 am - 5 pm Hybrid/In-Person: In-Person (If offered full time the candidate would switch to 3 days in the office and 2 days remote)
Salary: $20 Per Hour + benefits Temp-Perm
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- No weekends
