As a Quoting Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the sales process by accurately and efficiently preparing quotes for our diverse range of products.

Responsibilities:

  •  Receive and review incoming requests for quotes from sales representatives, customers, and other departments. 
  • Collaborate with the sales team and production managers to understand customer requirements and product specifications. 
  • Utilize pricing tools and systems to calculate accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, and overhead. 
  • Prepare comprehensive and competitive quotes tailored to meet customer needs and company profitability goals. 
  • Communicate with customers regarding quote details, pricing, lead times, and any additional requirements or options. 
  • Maintain organized records of all quotes, including revisions and follow-up correspondence. 
  • Monitor market trends, supplier pricing, and industry benchmarks to ensure competitiveness and profitability. 
  • Provide support to the sales team as needed, including assisting with customer inquiries and order processing.

 

Requirements:

  •  Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field preferred. 
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry, preferably in furniture or related sectors.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience using ERP or quoting software systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal teams and external customers.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and precision in all aspects of work.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Knowledge of upholstery materials, manufacturing processes, and industry standards is a plus.
