ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT (CALVERTON, NY) -- THIS JOB IS (((NOT))) REMOTE. LOCALS ONLY PLEASE.

***We are open to training the right candidate or taking on a seasoned veteran.***

compensation: T.B.D. based on experience level
employment type: full-time (overtime offered)

 

The "ideal" candidate:

Types 85 wpm and have experience using MS Word, Excel (formatting & basic formulas), Outlook & Quickbooks Pro.

Highly organized and able to "take charge."

Critical thinker -- someone who is a few steps ahead of the boss, so you can assist him in making the jobs run smoothly.

Effective communicator, able to multi-task, is ambitious, detail oriented and scores high in critical thinking.

The ability to read drawings is a +

 

Duties Include but are not limited to: answering phones, scheduling appointments, interacting with customers, billing, maintaining customer files and customer database, collections, purchasing, typing up estimates and contracts, whatever is needed to help run the office, etc.
