Store Manager – Job Description

What a typical day looks like for our manager:

  • Be in charge of your store's overall operations to boost productivity and boost sales.
  • Make decisions by using your reports (financial, operational, team, and guest) to comprehend the business.
  • Recognize sales trends and direct your team to capitalize on important seasons, occasions, and weekends to boost sales in core business categories.
  • Be aware of and evaluate the competition; make use of customer insights and feedback to grow the company and become our visitors' preferred destination.
  • Run a productive business to support the sales culture.
  • Adhere to every safe and secure training and procedures as a key management leader.

  • Find, hire, and keep a motivated team with expertise and knowledge in the relevant field.
  • Invest in training to improve abilities and skills.
  • Measure and control personal impact using total store contribution.
  • Develop long-term talent strategies to support team expansion.
  • Be in charge of and implement hourly work schedules that suit customer and business requirements (including weekends, mornings, evenings, overnight, and appropriate seasonal adjustments)

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Minimum of one year of experience as a store manager, or an equivalent level of experience.
  • High school diploma or GED is required for education. Preferably, you have a one-year college degree or comparable experience.
  • Prior retail cannabis experience is required.
  • Strong cognitive abilities, including problem-solving, decision-making, financial and quantitative analysis, as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills
