Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Job Highlights

  • Compensation: $30.40 per hour PAID WEEKLY
  • Setting/Location: Primary Care Clinic in Denton, TX
  • Hours: 30 - 40 hours per week (usually 30), 10 hour shifts during weekdays (8AM - 7PM, with 1 hour lunch break); 7-8 hours during weekend. Usually 3 weekdays + rotational weekend (Saturday or Sunday-- not both).


Job Responsibilities

• Provide holistic, evidenced-based care inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for our patients.
• Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection services
• Administer immunizations and injections (to include but not limited to COVID19, influenza, TB) and provides evidence-based patient/parent vaccine counseling and education.
• Assess patients during intake
• Take vital signs
• Perform diagnostic tests such as EKG, Retinopathy screening
• Perform Point of care testing
• Perform patient registration and intake, assist with wait room management and other responsibilities to enhance the patient experience.
• Order equipment and prepare the clinic for the best patient experience
• Help meet our mission to help people on their path to better health by providing excellent patient-focused connections and activities

 

Requirements

  • Licensed Vocational Nurse, active and in good standing
  • Active BLS required
