Job Purpose:

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing and supporting enterprise-level IT environments, with a strong focus on Office 365, cloud infrastructures, and network architecture.

Location: Ann Arbor, Michigan (this is a hybrid role, requires 3 days in the office, 2 days remote)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support Office 365 environments.
  • Work within GovCloud environments (e.g., GCC High, AWS GovCloud).
  • Document support activities, solutions, and configurations for knowledge sharing and future troubleshooting.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for major incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Support and maintain enterprise networks.
  • Manage and support Windows 11 Pro and Windows 11 Enterprise systems.
  • Design, implement, and manage cloud, hybrid, and on-premises infrastructures.
  • Design, implement, and administer network and cloud architecture.
  • Standardize configurations across applications and processes, promoting consistency and reliability.
  • Support coordination, tracking, planning, and scheduling of projects, upgrades, software builds, and infrastructure changes.
  • Build software components using configuration management tools to templatize infrastructure and enforce desired configurations.
  • Knowledge or familiarity with the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) program, and the NIST standards that are required to meet certification.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information science, information systems management, or IT related and/or 5 – 7 years of previous experience as a Systems Admin or similar type of role.
  • 3- 5 years of proven experience in Office 365 administration is required.
  • Expertise in network and cloud architecture design, implementation, and administration.
  • Experience with GovCloud environments (GCC High, AWS GovCloud) is preferred.
  • Previous experience in enterprise network management.
  • Experience with cloud, hybrid, or on-premises infrastructures, architecture design, migrations, industry standards, and technology management.
  • Experience in coordinating and planning IT projects and infrastructure changes.
  • Commitment to standardizing configurations and supporting production releases and installations.
  • Required proficiency in Windows 11 Pro and Windows 11 Enterprise.
  • Experience with iOS and MacOS is preferred.
  • Proficiency in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation is preferred.
  • Experience with Azure and Azure Government Cloud is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong documentation skills.
  • Willingness to take initiative on tasks and projects.
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies.
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users.
