A seeking a Medical Client Coordinator professional for a well-established medical examination company located in Uniondale, NY. This role presents an excellent opportunity for individuals who have customer-facing experience, possess strong attention to detail, and are eager to start their career in the medical industry. The primary responsibilities of this position include patient scheduling, managing medical records, and performing administrative tasks.

The ideal candidate has experience as a Medical Receptionist and welcome entry-level candidates who are ambitious and motivated to learn about the healthcare industry, offering them a chance to grow within our organization. The hourly rate for this role ranges from $18 to $20, commensurate with experience.

The work schedule for this position is Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Engaging with patients and healthcare professionals to schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments.
  • Gathering patient information by collecting demographic details from various sources, interacting with registration areas and physicians' offices, and retrieving data from automated systems.
  • Efficiently processing and filing a large volume of patient medical records.
  • Ensuring physicians are promptly notified of any schedule changes or updates to medical records.
  • Assisting in the resolution of customer complaints and addressing quality assurance matters as necessary.
  • Performing clerical duties such as typing, filing, emailing, and proofreading as required.
  • Verifying and updating client information in the database to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Promptly handling and responding to inquiries from clients or their representatives.
  • Ensuring compliance with state and federal safety and legal regulations.
  • Maintaining strict confidentiality of patient records to uphold patient confidence.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in medical or general administration.
  • Exceptional organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data entry and record management.
