Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist - Healthcare Operations Coordinator

HealthCare Support is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist - Healthcare Operations Coordinator to join their team. This is a unique opportunity to work with a large managed long term care company in Uniondale, New York.

Job Description:

As a Quality Assurance Specialist - Healthcare Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of healthcare services provided to participants, providers, and home care agencies. Your duties will include:

  • Completing quality validation calls to confirm that all services requested were received
  • Capturing and modifying any data missing by the PACE staff who submitted the original request
  • Communicating key updates to all parties to ensure deliverables are achieved for the participant
  • Completing assessment and coordination notes into the Care Compass EMR database
  • Assisting the Pace Services Coordinator Supervisors with various tasks, including providing training to staff and handling escalated calls
  • Managing and preparing confidential information, such as patient services and data summaries
  • Providing analysis reports of data information to management and preparing recommendations for review and/or changes

This is a three-month project for a contact center role, with a focus on quality audits and reviews of all submitted data. The candidate will also assist with scheduling.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An associate's degree or equivalent relevant customer service, quality, and auditing experience
  • One to two years of experience in customer service, quality, and/or auditing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet assigned deadlines
  • Excellent organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Ability to operate both independently and collaboratively as required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
