Campus Coordinator, North Campus Job Description

First and foremost, personally and spiritually, the Campus Coordinator is to walk with God. We each are called to cultivate a healthy relationship with Him, and at the same time maintain a healthy personal life. These are our most important responsibilities; everything else is subordinate to these.

First and foremost, vocationally, the Campus Coordinator is charged to represent Grace Fellowship Church in a Christ-like manner, and to effectively perform all the duties and responsibility outlined below.

Role and Responsibilities

The Campus Coordinator works to implement the vision of Grace Fellowship Church by assisting with ministry support systems and in the day-to-day operations of the campus under the direction of the campus pastor including:

  • Relationally handle follow-up with newcomers discerning who to field personally and who to redirect to others on the team.
  • Maintain a ministry presence in the office throughout the week, answering calls and fielding walk-ins and questions pertaining to North Campus.
  • Schedule volunteers, coordinate administrative functions to be performed by volunteers, assist with mailings, special projects, church-wide events, calendaring etc.
  • Assist the campus pastor in overseeing campus connections with the operations team. Prepare check requests, reconcile credit card statements, gather and deliver prayer requests to appropriate teams, ensure weekly tithes are counted and delivered to the finance team.
  • Mirror and multiply the campus pastor’s efforts to implement and communicate church activities and policies and their effective use at the campus level.
  • In cooperation with the campus pastor, effectively represent Grace Fellowship through the promotion and administration of Bible studies and or group opportunities. This role helps to make personal contacts to engage the unengaged.
  • Support campus ministries through the management and maintenance of the registration process for classes, small groups, scheduled baptisms, camps and other campus events.
  • Manage the campus calendar, communicating events and initiatives to the staff.
  • Leverage the effective use of CCB in administrative and ministry areas; ensure data integrity, always aiming to be consistent with Grace Fellowship policies on CCB use.
  • Own the MinistrySafe process for the campus including setting up trainings, running background checks and updating CCB profiles with current data.

Job Requirements:

  • Gifted in administration, organized
  • Detail oriented, ability to follow directions accurately
  • Self-motivated and timely with assignments
  • Competent in Microsoft Office
  • CCB experience a plus.
  • Professional with a commitment to Christ-like service
  • Communication skills: engaging and relational disposition, ability to say no with empathy and resolve

Salary & Benefits

The salary will be commensurate with experience. This position is a nonexempt full-time position. Grace Fellowship’s benefits are outlined in the Employee Handbook, and currently include paid vacation, church-paid health insurance for employee-only coverage, life insurance, long & short-term disability insurance, and a 403(b) plan.

Working Hours

Employees are encouraged to develop a working schedule that maximizes both time with their family and productive time accomplishing the job. The position requires a 40 hour work-week to be completed on site from Sunday – Thursday.
