Warehouse Receiving Operator

 

We have immediate openings for our growing manufacturing plant in NW Houston. We are seeking a Warehouse Receiving Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for various tasks within the warehouse environment, ensuring smooth operations and efficient handling of goods.

The Warehouse Receiving Operators must have 2 – 5 years of warehouse and forklift experience and will be trained in all facets of manufacturing production and safely to ensure the highest quality and correct quantity in accordance with the production schedule, standard operating procedures and supervisory instructions. 

Job Type: Full-time, 8-hour shifts, 5 days a week, Overtime required as needed by Company’s production schedule:
 

  • 1st shift: 7am - 3:30pm


Responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading trucks with accuracy and efficiency to facilitate the movement of goods.
  • Conducting cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory levels and identify any discrepancies.
  • Performing data entry tasks to record incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and completeness of records.
  • Fulfilling orders by accurately pulling items from designated locations within the warehouse.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization within the warehouse, including regular housekeeping duties to uphold safety and cleanliness standards.


Qualifications:

  • Two to Five years of previous experience in a warehouse environment preferred operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Two to Five years pf experience in Shipping and Receiving.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and inventory management.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.


Education and Work Experience:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Ability to demonstrate collaboration skills and work within a self-managed team environment.
  • Must be able to read and follow, weight fractions of ounces, and measure accurately by gallons, pints, and ounces (good math skills)
