Key Responsibilities:
• Direct and control the flow of work in the warehouse, ensuring timely and accurate processing of inventory and shipments
• Uphold operational procedures and standards, providing guidance and support to warehouse staff as needed
• Solicit feedback from employees to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to operational issues
• Assist with the training and development of new employees, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties
• Read and interpret receiving schedules, customer orders, shipping orders, and requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed
• Convey products and materials from receiving areas to storage or other designated areas, ensuring accurate and efficient inventory management
• Sort and place products or materials on racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined sequences, such as slotting location and item number
• Select products and assemble customer orders from designated slotting locations, preparing for final check and delivery
• Mark materials with identifying information, ensuring accurate tracking and inventory control
• Weigh or count items for distribution to ensure conformance to company standards, ensuring all products are free from damage and/or pest infestation
• Compile storage and/or selection data for daily reports, providing insights into warehouse operations and inventory management
• Prepare pallets for shipping with appropriate labeling information, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to customers
• Perform similar and related duties as assigned by supervisor, using the Company's Mission/Vision Statements and Core Values as guiding principles

Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Two years of experience in distribution or warehouse operations, preferably in the foodservice industry
• Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work in a team environment, with a focus on customer satisfaction and company goals
