This role also requires being fluent in both Spanish and English. The ideal candidate will work closely with loan officers, underwriters, and clients to ensure a smooth and efficient loan process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and verify loan application documentation, including credit reports, income statements, and property appraisals.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, state and federal regulations, and underwriting guidelines.
  • Communicate with clients, real estate agents, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and resolve any issues.
  • Coordinate with underwriters to ensure timely approval of loans and address any conditions or additional documentation required.
  • Prepare and review loan closing documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain detailed records of all loan transactions and interactions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bi-Lingual - Spanish and English
  • Proven experience as a mortgage loan processor or similar role, with a strong understanding of mortgage lending processes and guidelines.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations, including RESPA, TILA, and FHA/VA guidelines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in mortgage processing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high accuracy in all tasks.
