We are a rapidly growing litigation support company that works with law firms and insurance companies. We currently have an opening in our Court Department, for an eFiling Specialist.

 

The Opportunity

In this role, you will receive electronic court document filings (eFilings) from our clients and then submit them for eFiling with courts throughout California.

 

About You

Our ideal candidate has experience with e-filing in California, strong data entry skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, is meticulous about paying attention to details, and has good work attendance.

 

Requirements for This Position

· A familiarity with court document filing in California, for a variety of case types (i.e., civil, probate, family law, etc.)

· At least 2 years relevant work experience (i.e., working for a law firm or for an attorney service) *Please note that candidates without relevant experience will not be considered for this role

· At least 1 years’ experience eFiling into California courts (preferably using the Legal Connect platform, but not required to have used this platform)

· An associate’s degree or higher is preferred (but not required)

 

Responsibilities for a Court eFiling Specialist

· Receiving in new eFiling assignments (i.e., via online submission, email, etc.)

· Preparing documents to be eFiled (i.e., reviewing for problems, ensuring each document is a separate PDF, bookmarking exhibits in each PDF document, OCR’ing the PDF’s, etc.)

· Preparing courtesy copies that must be physically delivered to the court

· Assisting with miscellaneous office tasks in the court department (as time permits)

· Receiving conformed copies back from the court and returning them to our clients

· Timely responding to client’s emails

 

About the Job

This is a 40 hour a week position to be physically worked out of our Riverside (Jurupa Valley) location. There is some flexibility with the hours, based on your schedule, but you would need to be available to work 8 hours per day, between the hours of 7:30am to 6:00pm. Your pay will be based on your level of experience and your skill set.
