Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and LEED-certified Commercial Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage commercial construction projects from inception through completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, a thorough understanding of LEED standards, and a passion for sustainable building practices.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Project Planning and Coordination:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project goals are met.
  • Ensure all project activities comply with LEED requirements and sustainability goals.

Budget and Cost Management:

  • Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
  • Track and report on financial performance, including managing change orders and cost adjustments.

Quality and Safety Oversight:

  • Oversee all construction activities to ensure adherence to quality standards and LEED criteria.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns.
  • Facilitate effective communication between all project stakeholders to ensure alignment and project success.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, permits, and inspection reports.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and clients.

Sustainability and Compliance:

  • Ensure all construction practices align with LEED certification requirements and other relevant green building standards.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and advancements in sustainable construction practices.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • LEED AP (Accredited Professional) or equivalent certification is required.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in commercial construction project management, with a focus on sustainable and green building projects.
  • Strong knowledge of LEED certification processes and criteria.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
