Warehouse Assistant

JSG is interested in speaking with individuals with Warehouse or Inventory experience looking to work 1st shift- 7am-330pm (M-F) with our client in Alvin, TX. Pay is $17hr and drug screen & background are required to start. This role is 2+ month contract opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Conveys materials and items from receiving to storage or to other designated areas.
• Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to assigned inventory location.
• Issues material to customers and in current system based on request specifications.
• Fills requisitions, picklists, requests for materials, and/or other stock items and distributes items to various crafts throughout the facility.
• Marks materials with identifying information and updates system with location.
• Performs inventory audits at all warehouses, as required.
• Provides support for Projects and Turn Arounds, as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license
• At least 6 months warehouse or inventory experience
• Experience in counting inventory/cycle counts
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Good Microsoft Excel skills
• Must have High School Diploma or GED
• Strong interpersonal skills and are a TEAM player
