Position Overview:

The Site Operations Coordinator will be accountable for executing a comprehensive array of SDI services at a designated client site.

This position will report to the Operations Manager, who oversees multiple client locations.

The ideal candidate will proficiently and effectively supervise the client site for SDI, with daily responsibilities encompassing purchasing, receiving, inventory management, technology oversight, personnel productivity, and facility management.

The selected candidate will also be tasked with achieving established performance objectives and ensuring top-tier (BIC) storeroom operations.

Goals will include, but are not limited to, customer service standards, inventory precision, utilization of national suppliers, savings for both the customer and SDI, and adherence to safety protocols.

By leveraging previous experiences, this role will be responsible for achieving site profitability in line with predetermined targets, as well as providing weekly performance forecasts.

The Site Operations Coordinator will possess strong communication and collaboration skills, working closely with various functions centralized at corporate headquarters.

These functions include Engineering Services, Strategic Sourcing, Central Purchasing, Human Resources, Finance, and Information Technology.

A Typical Day in the Life of a Site Operations Coordinator:
Ensure customer service levels align with required standards as per SDI's agreements. Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy. Adhere to and enforce all SDI and client safety protocols. Achieve site profitability in accordance with predetermined contractual goals. Provide weekly performance forecasts.

The Skills You'll Contribute to Our Diverse Team:
Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience.

5 years in a leadership capacity overseeing hourly and clerical staff within a service sector (preferably in industrial, manufacturing, or commercial environments).

Experience in profit and loss (P&L) management is essential. A hands-on manager willing to engage in tasks and ensure successful outcomes. Knowledge of Six Sigma preferred; familiarity with other process methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing will also be considered. Demonstrated understanding of storeroom operations and material management (issuing, receiving, stocking, purchasing, inventory control, etc.). Strong organizational, time management, and personnel management skills. Comprehensive knowledge of basic manufacturing processes. Process-oriented with robust analytical capabilities. Proven ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy, integrity, and professionalism, alongside a demonstrated strong work ethic. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems is required. Valid Drivers' License (site specific).

Willingness to work in an industrial/warehouse setting; may encounter heat, noise, and dirt, with lifting (up to 50 lbs.) as part of the role.

May be required to work in other positions and locations to meet corporate and/or customer needs.
