Job SummaryTelstar Integrated Solutions is a high-end residential and commercial AV company in Long Island, NY. We Design, Engineer and install Audio/Video solutions, Lighting & Shade control, Networks, Home automation, Landscape Lighting, Surveillance System, Burglar Alarms & Commercial Fire Alarms. We are looking for an enthusiastic teammate who is hardworking, has the required skills and is a good leader.

We are looking for a Technician to join our team and provide installations and support for our customers. Candidate will be responsible for installing TVs, Speakers, Cameras, Motorized Shades, Landscape Lighting & much more.  Aside from installation candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, providing customer service, and managing the installation of hardware and software. They must be organized, well-spoken and able to think on their feet and support team members

Responsibilities 
  • Travel to various locations to run wires and install new equipment
  • Run wires in new or existing buildings
  • Installation of AV & Security Products
  • Advise customers on the basic use of their new equipment
  • Follow all best worksite practices and safety guidelines 
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose complex technical problems.
  • Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed.

Qualifications
  • Must have 3 - 5 years of Audio/Video or Security install experience.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to work well under pressure or in a fast-paced environment
  • OSHA 10 Minimum 
  • Valid Drivers License 
Schedule

  • 8 hour shift - 8 AM - 4:30 PM
