As a Wellness Advisor at YogaSix, you will play a vital role in assisting the General Manager with new membership sales and the retention of current members. Your superior customer service skills will help new and existing students with class selections, membership questions, and merchandise purchases. We’re looking for someone excited about building a strong YogaSix community and contributing to a welcoming studio environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Sales & Customer Service:

    • Execute full sales process including lead generation, follow-up, and closing sales.
    • Conduct studio tours with new prospects to build rapport and facilitate sales.
    • Meet and exceed sales goals as established by the General Manager.
    • Book quality appointments to achieve monthly sales quotas.

  • Product & Program Knowledge:

    • Be knowledgeable about all products, programs, and pricing.
    • Emphasize and enforce the studio's objectives as a fitness and wellness provider.

  • Community Engagement:

    • Participate in grassroots/community events (health fairs, grand openings, marathons, community and hospital events) to promote the studio.

  • Studio Maintenance:

    • Assist with maintaining a clean, safe, and inviting environment.
    • Support studio cleanliness and organization.

  • Professional Development:

    • Assume responsibility for developing selling skills.
    • Attend special events and trainings as needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Required Qualifications:

    • Excellent sales, communication, and customer service skills.
    • Goal-oriented with the ability to achieve sales targets.
    • Fluent in English with excellent communication skills (in person, phone, and email).
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
    • Proficient computer skills.
    • Ability to travel as needed.
    • Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

  • Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience in the fitness or wellness industry.
    • Previous sales experience in a similar role.
    • Familiarity with yoga and fitness programs.
    • Proficiency in using Club Ready software system (or experience with a similar CRM such as MindBody, Zen Planner)
      • Training provided

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to sit or stand for up to four hours at a time.
  • Ability to reach with hands and arms, bend, lift (up to 30 pounds), kneel, and drive a car.
  • Comfortable climbing stairs where elevators are not available.
  • Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust and focus.
  • Effective hearing in person and via telephone.
