The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Durango is seeking 4 temporary assistant teachers for a retreat near Vallecito Lake on July 13. Duties will include loosely structured play for children between the ages of 1 and 4 in a camp setting where parents will be on site but involved in their own retreat activities. Hours are 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 13. The ideal candidate is an active person who enjoys being with children, is at least 18 years of age, is a possible college student majoring in early childhood or elementary education. Must be able to pass a background check. This position may lead to other teaching or childcare opportunities within the congregation.
