Why This Job – Billing Specialist  
As a Billing Specialist, you’ll be part of a team of people who are exceptional at their craft. You’ll handle billing for a group of high-producing attorneys and be the go-to person for all billing questions. This team handles a high volume of billing and someone with previous experience in a similar environment will do well They love to promote from within, so the sky is the limit. 

What You’ll Actually Do: 

  • Full-cycle legal billing for multiple attorneys 
  • Manage all AR for a particular team and provide regular updates on payments 
  • Follow up on any billing issues in a timely and professional manner 
  • Provide AR analysis as needed 
  • Manage all pre-bills and provide revisions as needed 
  • Ad hoc projects as needed 

To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Need: 

  • 5+ years of legal billing experience for a large regional or national firm 
  • Prior experience with e-billing 
  • Experience supporting 5+ attorneys with billing 
  • Strong detail orientation and sense of urgency 
  • Legal billing software experience like Clio  

It Would Be Brilliant If You Also Have: 

  • Elite legal billing software experience 
  • Experience working for an Am top 100 firm 

Where and How Much: 

  • Pay range $70K - $90K; based on experience 
  • Bonus and overtime-eligible  
  • Great benefits, including 401K match and competitive PTO policy
