Job DescriptionJob Description

Our team is seeking a sharp Staff Accountant for a client located in Elk Grove Village. The ideal candidate will be responsible for timely and accurate preparation of financial accounting in a variety of areas. It is essential that this candidate brings analytical and organizational skills in order to best support the accounting team.

Responsibilities

·        Works closely with the department heads to understand and ensure accuracy of all financial reporting activity

·        Fixed Asset Accounting

·        Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules according to monthly close schedule

·        Contract and invoice reviews

·        Capital expenditure reporting

·        Project accounting

·        Special projects as needed

Qualifications

·        Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting

·        0 - 2 years' experience in accounting

·        Proficient in Microsoft Excel
