Cozzini has a great opportunity for a Staff Accountant to join our Accounting/Finance Team
Role Responsibilities:
- Prepare journal entries by collecting, reconciling, analyzing, and summarizing information related to financial transactions.
- Take an active role with monthly financial close.
- Analyze assigned GL accounts for proper accounting treatment.
- Maintain general ledger accounts.
- Assist with cash control by reconciling bank statements and ensuring compliance with internal controls.
- Responsible for the maintenance of the fixed asset ledgers and the fixed asset detail records.
- Responsible for the analysis and reporting of all sales tax transactions in accordance with applicable state law. Includes responsibility for maintaining the sales tax-exempt certificate database.
- Special assignments as required.

Requirements:- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- 2+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office suite skills – especially excel functions – i.e., pivot tables.
- Able to work efficiently in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently without close supervision.
- Must be detail oriented.
