Key Responsibilities:

  1. Machine Maintenance: Perform routine and preventive maintenance on a wide range of industrial equipment, including but not limited to conveyors, pumps, motors, and production machinery.

  2. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in a timely manner to minimize production downtime.

  3. Repair and Calibration: Repair and calibrate machinery and equipment, including replacing or repairing defective parts, bearings, belts, and hydraulic systems.

  4. Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including the proper handling of hazardous materials and adherence to company safety policies.

  5. Documentation: Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including equipment history, repairs, and parts inventory.

  6. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other maintenance technicians, engineers, and production staff to improve overall equipment efficiency.

  7. Emergency Response: Be on-call or respond to emergency maintenance requests outside regular working hours as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in industrial maintenance is a plus.
  • Proven experience as an industrial maintenance mechanic or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial equipment and machinery.
  • Proficiency in reading technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Basic electrical and welding skills.
  • Familiarity with hand and power tools used in maintenance.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and the ability to work in compliance with safety regulations.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant certifications in industrial maintenance.
  • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • Experience with predictive maintenance techniques.
  • Welding and fabrication skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy equipment and materials.
  • Stand, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
  • Work in various weather conditions.
