As a Mechanical & Welding Production Technician, you will be responsible for

  • Coordinating the work efforts to perform assembly of components per assembly drawings/bill of material
  • Managing your time to ensure production deadlines are met
  • Safe operation of industrial equipment (furnaces, ovens, lathes, welding power supplies, etc.)
  • Ability to read, understand and adhere to manufacturing documentation (drawings, manufacturing procedures, standard operating procedures, etc.)
  • Keeping a detailed record and documentation of manufacturing activities
  • Producing products which conform to design and manufacturing specifications
  • Communicating to request support, contribute to solutions or ensure timely completion of assigned work, among others.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Have a strong mechanical background.
  • Have a strong welding background in TIG Welds.
  • Have experience welding aluminum or have the ability to learn and perform aluminum welding independently.
  • Have experience reading drawings and B.O.M.s
  • Have experience using hand and power tools, ovens/furnaces and other industrial equipment.
  • Have great dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Be willing to learn/train on manufacturing processes, spanning multiple product lines
  • Possess a strong work ethic and self-motivated drive .
  • Have a desire to work within manufacturing
