Individual in this position needs to provide professional customer service and will be installing, troubleshooting,repairing, and maintaining equipment. Will also promote and perform preventative maintenance, as well as conduct technical support and training for customers.
General Description of what the Job Consists of:
- Travel to customer sites to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment.
- Understand electrical and hydraulic schematics to detect and resolve issues with electrical and mechanical components.
- Complete and submit proper documentation related to the status of machines issues,repairs, and/or installation.
- Promote and perform preventative maintenance on a variety of machines.
- Conduct technical support and machine maintenance training to customers
Work Experience Requirements:
- Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic schematics, welding, and/or fabrication.
- General mechanical aptitude.
- Must be able to work independently and in a team environment.
- The ability to work flexible hours and some travel will be required (1 -2 days per week). Most days the hours are 7am- 4:30pm with hour for lunch)
- Must be able to work with all levels of management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong technical and presentation skills.
- Driver's License with clean driving record and can obtain a Class-E certification, CDL is a plus.
- Provide your own hand tools. (Power tools will be supplied)
- Ability to operate forklift.
- Ability to lift 100 lbs.
