Job DescriptionJob Description

Description: This position focuses on sales generation and ongoing customer support within a defined territory/segment consisting of the Federal Government. This individual must be a motivated self-starter with a passion for building relationships and a drive to succeed. This Federal Account Executive will develop and implement tactical and strategic sales and marketing plans for the respective territory/segment. This individual must understand the federal environment and keep up on emerging technology to support the growing needs of federal clients. The major expectation of this position is quota attainment on a consistent basis. Emphasis is on quota attainment. 

Responsibilities:

·   Develop and implement sales and marketing plan

·   Maintain active account management

·   Expand existing customer base

·   Generate new accounts

·   Consistent follow-up on sales, support, and training

·   Maintain appropriate A/R levels and assist A/R department with outstanding accounts

·   Trade show coordination and participation

·   Attend company and manufacturer training sessions and meetings

·   Assist other CCS departments whenever/wherever necessary to ensure success

·   Work closely with internal CCS departments to build accurate project bids

Qualifications:

·   Strong sales skills

·   Exceptional interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills

·   Excellent organizational and time management skills

·   A strong work ethic and positive attitude

·   A high level of professionalism and confidentiality

·   Ability to manage a wide range of relationships with a variety of stakeholders

·   Demonstrated ability to establish effective and cooperative working relationships built on trust

·   Comfortable making decisions independently and collaborating with team members

·   Mature and effective communication with all customers and CCS team members

·   Professional and efficient sales practices

·   Thorough background in A/V system integration design and function

·   3-5 years of outside, direct sales

·   Must be comfortable with an annual quota of 2-3 million dollars
