We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Group Profile and Data Entry Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up new group profiles in our database, reviewing and gathering data to provide accurate quotes, entering census data into Excel, and assigning new group quotes to staff members. Your exceptional organizational skills and keen eye for accuracy will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our operations.

Responsibilities:

  1. Set up new group profiles in the database:
    • Create and maintain accurate and up-to-date group profiles in our database system.
    • Collect necessary information and input it into the appropriate fields.
    • Verify the completeness and accuracy of data entered.
  2. Review and gather data necessary to provide quotes:
    • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to collect relevant information for quote generation.
    • Conduct thorough reviews of gathered data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
    • Communicate with clients to clarify any missing or inconsistent data.
  3. Enter census data in Excel:
    • Utilize Excel or other designated software to input and organize census data.
    • Ensure data is accurately recorded, categorized, and updated as necessary.
    • Perform regular quality checks to identify and rectify any errors or discrepancies.
  4. Assign new group quotes to staff:
    • Coordinate with the appropriate staff members to distribute new group quotes.
    • Ensure equitable distribution of workload among team members.
    • Track and update the status of assigned quotes and follow up as needed.

Requirements:

  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Proficient in database management and data entry.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Capacity to handle sensitive and confidential information with utmost discretion.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar role involving group profile setup and data entry.
  • Familiarity with insurance or financial industries.
  • Understanding of underwriting processes and insurance terminology.
