Growing Kansas City construction company is looking for an Accountant to add to their growing organization.

The Accountant will be responsible for a variety of duties that include:

  • Manage Accounts receivable that includes applying customer payments
  • Review and reconcile general ledger accounts
  • General ledger work
  • Analyze credit reports and financial information for customers
  • Prepare and submit monthly AIA’s /progress billings
  • Process monthly bank and account reconciliations
  • Export aging reports from Excel to balance and make any adjustments as needed
  • Any other needs assigned

Skills required for Accountant:

  • 5+ years accounting experience in the Construction industry
  • Experience with Timberline, ComputerEase, Foundation or similar construction accounting software
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills strongly preferred
