Safety Trainer

The Safety Trainer will provide client and employee user training regarding current electrical safety standards, OSHA standards, and company policies.

This role will involve continuous travel to customer sites, including overnight out-of-town stays, to conduct training at client facilities. The amount of travel largely depends upon the project scope, schedule, and assigned tasks, which can be up to 80%.


Essentials:

• Associate’s Degree in a related discipline or a combination of equivalent education and/or experience will be considered.

• Experience developing training plans to provide technical product support, consulting, and technical services to customers and employees regarding electrical safety.

• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and standards.

• Working knowledge of the most recent edition of NFPA 70E “Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace.”

• Comfortable with public speaking for mid to large-size groups in a classroom setting.

• Ability to travel up to 80%, 5 days a week, including out-of-town overnight stays.

• Experience with technical training, business development, and working in a manufacturing/electrical environment are highly preferred.
