Job Summary:
As an Entry-Level Project Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our seasoned project management team. You'll have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a variety of construction projects, learning the ropes from industry experts, and contributing to the successful delivery of our innovative and exciting projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Coordination: Assist project managers in organizing and coordinating construction projects, ensuring they run smoothly and on schedule.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, and contracts.
- Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, subcontractors, and clients to facilitate clear and effective communication throughout projects.
- Problem-Solving: Identify and address project challenges proactively, offering creative solutions to keep projects on track.
- Safety: Promote and maintain a safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
Education/Certifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (related coursework or degree is a plus).
Experience:
- Previous customer service experience is a plus.
Knowledge Skills & Abilities
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Experience in data entry, product ordering and record keeping.
- Ability to read & interpret architectural & construction drawling's/specs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Enthusiasm for learning and a passion for the construction industry.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
