Now hiring a Remote Grievance & Appeals Coordinator in Woodland hills, CA. The Grievance & Appeals Coordinator would be working for a Fortune 500 company and has career growth potential. This would be full time / 40+ hours per week.

Compensation

  • The pay for this position is $22 an hour
  • Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
  • A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Highlights

  • The required availability for this position is: M-F anywhere between 8am-6pm (staggered shifts)
  • Remote but must live near Woodland Hills office

Responsibilities for Grievance & Appeals Coordinator

  • Speaking with members, documenting, researching (utilizing different material and navigating through systems, reaching out to providers & members, communicating with internal and external parties), formulating responses in writing to members (writing skills are extremely important for this role), will need to meet deadlines.
  • This position has a ton of moving parts. Time management plays a key part in this role.
  • Need strong candidates who have critical thinking skills and writing skills, this is not an entry level position.

Requirements for Grievance & Appeals Coordinator

  • Must have previous Grievance and Appeals exp, Medical management, Utilization management, and/or running a doctor’s office
  • Analytical and research savvy
  • Must have at least 1 year of recent healthcare experience and strong work history
  • Strong organization and able to multi-task
  • Attendance-must be timely and show up to work
  • HS Diploma
