Project Controls in Accounting group - they use a hybrid schedule (meaning in the office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday)

  • Some primary responsibilities include:
    • Project setup – initiating new projects in Deltek Vision program
    • Monthly invoicing
      • Private, Civic, and Federal clients including the City of Atlanta as an example
      • 80-120 invoices per month
        • We typically issue +200 invoices per month so there will be additional support at invoicing time
      • Contract compliance for government projects
        • Insurance reporting
        • Providing backup information for billing rates
      • Quarterly and annual reporting
        • We are part of 7 operating companies - all engineering based
        • Accounting is a shared service which is led out of Pittsburgh
        • Coordinate with Accounting team to provide financial reports up the chain
  • Abilities and skills needed
    • Experience in AEC industry (Point of completion accounting practices)
    • Experience with Deltek (Deltek has multiple software packages. We use Vision, but there is also Ajera and VantagePoint. Experience with any will do).
    • Experience working in a fast paced environment and coordinating with multiple stakeholders. We have 20 PMs who this person will need to coordinate with on invoices and projects.
