Project Controls Specialist

The Program Controls Support Analyst will play a crucial role in assisting the Program Manager with communications, database management, and other duties as assigned. This individual will work closely with Project Managers and Project Staff to ensure the success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist and supervise the performance of project processes and activities for project managers.
  • Coordinate core project functions, including scope, cost, time, and quality.
  • Develop fully baselined, logic-linked project schedules.
  • Ensure accuracy of project schedules, updates, database entries, and perform version control.
  • Support Project Managers in ensuring that projects meet defined project timelines and stay within budget.
  • Provide support in monitoring project schedules, milestone progress, and resource allocations.
  • Support the Program Manager in developing Work Breakdown Structures.
  • Consult with Project Managers and technical experts to establish project assignments, tasks, and subtasks.
  • Assist with project status report updates and maintain a history of revisions and document changes.
  • Assist with proper project closure procedures, including securing all required signatures and ensuring that all interim and final project billing has been completed.
  • Assist with the production of planning reports to capture Earned Value Management, Estimate To Complete, and Estimate At Completion calculations.
  • Coordinate cross-functional processes to monitor action items and ensure completion.

Requirements:

  • Ability to support project governance and project status review meetings.
  • Proficient knowledge of Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with executive-level external and internal clients.
  • Strong ability to multitask, work independently, and manage all aspects of a construction project effectively and efficiently.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). E-Builder experience is preferred.
