Job Duties, Responsibilities and Requirements

  • Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
  • Conduct detailed account reconciliations and promptly resolve discrepancies
  • Manage month-end, quarterly, and year-end close processes
  • Collaborate with internal teams ensure all financial transactions within the company are accounted for accurately, timely and follow legal standards
  • Assist management with the documentation and maintenance of accounting policies, procedures and control processes
  • Coordinate with customers, vendors and suppliers to resolve any outstanding balances and billing issues or disputes
  • Play a role in driving continued process improvements, including working cross-functionally to create repeatable consistent processes
  • Responsible for financial analysis, data collection and ad-hoc reporting
  • Other special projects as assigned by VP of Finance

Minimum Qualifications/Experience/Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, discretion, professionalism and integrity
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving skills: ability to objectively identify, assess, resolve, and mitigate risk while ensuring optimal results or outcomes are achieved
  • Demonstrated ability to drive results through individual efforts
