Job DescriptionJob Description

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team and contribute to our financial operations.

Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

 

2. General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.

 

3. Accounts Payable and Receivable: Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment scheduling, and collections, to ensure timely payments and receipts.

 

4. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of annual budgets and periodic forecasts, providing financial insights and recommendations to support business decision-making.

 

5. Cost Accounting: Analyze production costs and inventory levels, identifying areas for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.

 

6. Financial Analysis: Conduct variance analysis and financial performance evaluations, identifying key drivers of profitability and areas for improvement.

 

7. Process Improvement: Continuously review accounting processes and procedures, identifying opportunities for streamlining workflows and enhancing efficiency.

 

Requirements:

1. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Epicor) and Microsoft Excel.

2. Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations (GAAP).

3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

4. Attention to detail and accuracy in work.

5. Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

6. Prior experience with cost accounting and inventory management is a plus.
