Looking for Warehouse Associate to work for a Growing well-established company, that as a manufacturer’s rep specializes in the sale, repair, and service of steam and hot water boilers and boiler room equipment and associated control systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include the following (other duties may be assigned):

  • Review and prioritize daily orders when received
  • Clean & organize the warehouse as needed.
  • Pull all parts as indicated on the orders, assemble orders for Service Dept or customer shipment as necessary.
  • Load and unload trucks as necessary.  Inspect containers and material reporting any damage or missing items noticed. 
  • Compare identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders or other records.
  • Affixes shipping labels on packed boxes and prepares them for UPS, Fed-Ex, etc.
  • Assembles cardboard containers or selects preassembled containers
  • Inserts items into containers, binds the container with the appropriate tape.
  • Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, matches up pack slips with PO’s, records damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with the manager. 
  • Routes items to appropriate locations.
  • Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.
  • Maintains inventory of shipping materials and common boiler parts in stock.
  • Operates forklift to load/unload shipment as needed.
  • Pickup and/or deliver parts from suppliers and customers as necessary.
  • Deliver parts to technicians in the field as needed.
  • Maintain an acceptable level of attention to detail and an overall positive attitude.
  • Possess the ability to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

 

Physical Demands: The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit and use hands to finger, handle or feel.  The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms.  The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus.

 

REQUIREMENTS

We are seeking professional, career-oriented entry level associates with a minimum of (1) year of experience in warehouse work. Applicants must be honest, reliable, motivated, and willing to work with our service technicians as needed.

 

Potential candidates should also possess the following skills:

· Valid driver’s license.

· Willingness to learn, lead and work in a team environment.

· Mechanical aptitude and ability to use small hand tools safely and effectively.

· A working knowledge of cutting and threading pipe (If required).

· The ability to work alone with little or no supervision.

· The ability to read, write legibly and a basic understanding of industrial parts, part numbers and warehouse systems. 

This is a permanent, full-time position offering excellent compensation and benefits, including 401K with company match, paid vacation, paid holidays, company paid health insurance, bonuses, and company vehicle.

 

Pay: $20 hr. AND UP. (Based on experience and proven ability)

 

Pre-hire requirements included a drug screen, motor vehicle records check (for insurance purposes) and a background check.
