Job Overview

The Production Supervisor at Sprecher Beverage Company will report to the Plant Manager and will oversee the operations of the variety packing line during the 2nd shift at our manufacturing facility. This role involves managing all facets of line operations, production timelines, workforce management, and warehouse efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct and supervise a team of operators adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Engage in workforce planning, recruitment, training, scheduling, and employee development.
  • Operate machinery and address maintenance challenges.
  • Manage production timelines to enhance plant performance.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and fulfillment of customer orders.
  • Foster collaboration with other business units for organizational alignment.
  • Provide leadership in safety, morale, quality, cost management, and production efficiency.
  • Promote a culture of respect, teamwork, and operational effectiveness.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing or a related field.
  • Forklift certification is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices and workplace safety regulations.
  • Experience in team development, recruitment, training, and scheduling.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication abilities.
  • Capability to perform under pressure and resolve issues effectively.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally 75 lbs.
  • Perform tasks involving walking, stooping, bending, and reaching.
  • Endure long periods of standing on concrete surfaces.
