Summer Marketing and Social Media Intern

Nu-Calgon, a fast-growing, medium-size specialty chemical company located in the Westport area is looking for a part-time Marketing and Social Media Intern to join our team in St. Louis, Missouri. Nu-Calgon is the leading supplier of air conditioning and refrigeration chemicals through wholesale distribution.

We seek a creative and eager intern to help us maintain and grow our marketing and social media presence, while giving the right candidate the ability to build their real-life marketing skills.

As a Marketing and Social Media Intern, you will be working closely with the Marketing team who will provide you with hands-on projects and tasks that use social media platforms to promote, manage, and share the Nu-Calgon brand and story.

You will use your creative skills to create content in the areas of Nu-Calgon family of products, contractor partnerships, demonstrations, and events.

Candidate should have completed at least Sophomore year at a college or university.

Job Qualification and Responsibilities:
 

·         Create written, graphic, and video content for company owned or sponsored social media profiles
 

·         Posts featuring contractors and staff
 

·         Posts featuring Nu-Calgon products / Contractor services
 

·         Posts developing the Nu-Calgon Brand
 

·         Build presence on new and developing social media platforms.
 

·         Assist in loading/producing stories/creating graphics for social media and website assets.
 

·         Help develop strategies for capturing target audience and increasing engagement.
 

·         Assist with social media analytics and reporting
 

·         Other duties as assigned.
 

·         Advanced knowledge of popular social media platforms from a brand perspective.
 

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
 

·         Highly organized and driven.
 

Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
