Some of your responsibilities:
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relations and build morale, leading to increased productivity and retention.
  • Contribute to a positive employee relations environment. Foster a collaborative culture. Focus on employee engagement.
  • Create learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
  • Oversee employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommend best practices; review policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to departmental leadership to reduce legal risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Maintains job descriptions and facilitates reasonable accommodation requests. May provide input on HR-related areas such as department structures, workforce planning, and/or succession planning. Conduct retention, stay, and exit interviews.
What do you need to succeed?
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field; SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly desired
  • 10+ years of related HR experience, with 5 years of experience in employee relations preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity working with HRIS and payroll software, ADP preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must be able to develop strong, trusting relationships to gain support and achieve results
  • Ability to work well under pressure, adapt to unexpected events, prioritize, and multi-task in a deadline-driven environment
8am-5pm, Monday - Friday with some flex on start/end time
$100K-$120K, B.O.E. with an annual bonus
