- Crafts and executes creative, high-quality menus that exceed culinary expectations.
- Leads and manages all aspects of kitchen operations to ensure seamless and efficient service.
- Implements and maintains stringent food safety and sanitation standards.
- Manages food and labor costs to achieve financial targets and operational excellence.
- Mentors, coaches, and develops kitchen staff to foster a culture of culinary excellence.
- Collaborates with the management team to contribute to overall strategic planning and business success.
- Oversees the procurement of high-quality ingredients and maintains vendor relationships.
- Stays abreast of culinary trends and continuously elevates our offerings.
What you will need
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar leadership role.
- Culinary degree or equivalent formal training and experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- 3 - 5+ years of progressive culinary and kitchen management experience.
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and HACCP principles.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a diverse culinary team.
- Creative flair for menu development with a focus on quality and presentation.
- Experience in high-volume, upscale dining environments is a plus.
- Proficient in kitchen management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- ServSafe certification is required.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Successful candidates must meet eligibility criteria, including the ability to undergo and successfully complete a criminal background check and drug screen in accordance with applicable State laws and regulations.
- Ability to provide documents for work authorization. We utilize E-Verify, an online system that allows us to confirm the eligibility of our employees to work in the United States.
