Key Responsibilities:
Production Oversight:
- Monitor and facilitate the production process, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently.
- Coordinate with production teams to meet daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
- Ensure compliance with production schedules and adjust operations as needed to meet deadlines.
Team Coordination:
- Work closely with production staff to allocate tasks and ensure proper utilization of resources.
- Serve as a liaison between production teams, supervisors, and management, facilitating effective communication and problem-solving.
- Assist in training new employees on production processes and safety protocols.
Quality Assurance:
- Manage the current ERP system and coordinate it through departments.
- Monitor product quality throughout the production process and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Identify and address any quality issues or defects, working with relevant teams to implement corrective actions.
Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for improving production efficiency, reducing waste, and optimizing processes.
- Collaborate with teams to implement best practices and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Safety Compliance:
- Ensure that all production activities are conducted in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions to maintain a safe working environment.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, including output, downtime, and any issues encountered.
- Prepare and present reports on production performance, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- **Bilingual in English & Spanish is HIGHLY desirable**
- 5+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing/warehouse environment, with a focus on facilitation or coordination.
- Forklift and crane operation experience is preferred.
- Strong understanding of production processes, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and production management software.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and move around the production floor for extended periods.
- Ability to be on your feet most of the day.
