You will work closely with production teams, supervisors, and management to facilitate smooth operations, address challenges, and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Production Oversight:

    • Monitor and facilitate the production process, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently.
    • Coordinate with production teams to meet daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
    • Ensure compliance with production schedules and adjust operations as needed to meet deadlines.

  2. Team Coordination:

    • Work closely with production staff to allocate tasks and ensure proper utilization of resources.
    • Serve as a liaison between production teams, supervisors, and management, facilitating effective communication and problem-solving.
    • Assist in training new employees on production processes and safety protocols.

  3. Quality Assurance:

    • Manage the current ERP system and coordinate it through departments.
    • Monitor product quality throughout the production process and ensure adherence to quality standards.
    • Identify and address any quality issues or defects, working with relevant teams to implement corrective actions.

  4. Process Improvement:

    • Identify opportunities for improving production efficiency, reducing waste, and optimizing processes.
    • Collaborate with teams to implement best practices and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

  5. Safety Compliance:

    • Ensure that all production activities are conducted in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
    • Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions to maintain a safe working environment.

  6. Reporting and Documentation:

    • Maintain accurate records of production activities, including output, downtime, and any issues encountered.
    • Prepare and present reports on production performance, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • **Bilingual in English & Spanish is HIGHLY desirable**
  • 5+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing/warehouse environment, with a focus on facilitation or coordination.
  • Forklift and crane operation experience is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of production processes, quality standards, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and production management software.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, and move around the production floor for extended periods.
  • Ability to be on your feet most of the day.
