We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Director of Security with a Fire Life Safety certification to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Director of Security in overseeing all aspects of our security operations, including payroll, scheduling, billing, and general administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- **Security Operations:**
- Assist the Director of Security in the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Ensure compliance with all security regulations and standards.
- **Fire Life Safety:**
- Maintain and apply Fire Life Safety certification knowledge to ensure all fire safety protocols are met.
- Conduct regular fire safety drills and training sessions for staff.
- **Administrative Duties:**
- Manage payroll for the security team, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Develop and maintain security team schedules, ensuring adequate coverage at all times.
- Handle billing and invoicing for security services.
- Maintain accurate records of security incidents and actions taken.
- **Team Leadership:**
- Supervise and provide guidance to security staff.
- Assist in recruiting, training, and evaluating security personnel.
- Foster a positive and professional work environment.
- **Technology and Reporting:**
- Utilize computer systems and software to manage security operations effectively.
- Prepare and present reports on security activities, incidents, and recommendations for improvement.
**Qualifications:**
- Fire Life Safety certification is required.
- Proven experience in a security management role, preferably in a similar environment.
