Our team of professionals have a passion for creating memorable experiences with our artfully crafted, mouth-watering cuisine and our exceptional service.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Set, communicate, and maintain expectations, timelines, and priorities while managing multiple events simultaneously.
  • Provide client support and ensure overall customer satisfaction, while managing supplier relationships.
  • Supervise and manage events on-site, including during evenings and weekends.
  • Submit all menus, beverages, and alcohol orders to the respective departments in CaterXpert.
  • Update proposals and menus based on client changes and requests leading up to an event.
  • Reserve all rental needs for both in-house and outsourced equipment.
  • Schedule and execute venue walk-throughs prior to events to determine setup needs and planning.
  • Create detailed floor plans for each event.
  • Obtain final event details from clients, including guest count, seating arrangements, and menu selections.
  • Finalize event billing and gather feedback from clients post-event.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support event success.
Physical Demands: The physical demands of this role require regular communication, including talking and hearing, as well as frequent standing, walking, using hands to handle objects, and reaching with arms. Off-site events may require prolonged standing and walking for up to 12 hours, along with repetitive bending, stooping, reaching, and climbing stairs. Candidates must be able to remain physically active for extended periods without fatigue.

Travel: Significant local travel, with more than 50% of time spent traveling to off-site meetings and events.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in event planning or event management, preferably in the catering or hospitality industry.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple events of varying sizes and complexity.
  • Experience working with event management software, such as CaterXpert, is highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client and vendor relationships.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities, particularly in high-pressure situations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • High level of professionalism and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work non-standard hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
  • A detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to excellence and client satisfaction.

Salary Range: The pay range for the Event Manager position ranges from $58,000 to $70,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
