Lamar's Corporate office is now hiring a Lease Analyst to work with Controllership to achieve complete, accurate, and timely accounting information as it relates to leases. This role works closely with field offices to address lease-related questions and issues.

What we are looking for in you:

  • Experience in the use of MS Office Programs (Excel, Word, Power Point, etc) and GSuite (Google Sheets, Slides, Docs)
  • Ability to accurately enter and compile data, as well as identify discrepancies and issues
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines

Education and experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2 or more years of office experience preferred

A day in the life:

  • Responsible for various administrative functions related to leases, including, but not limited to:
    • reading new and renewal leases,
    • interpreting and analyzing lease issues,
    • entering lease data into the system,
    • verification of voids,
    • and generating, publishing, and distributing lease compliance database reports
  • Conduct audits as directed to ensure compliance with the Company’s processes and SOX controls
  • Assist field offices with questions regarding leases
  • Assist the Sr. Lease Accounting Analyst and Lease Supervisor with special projects, as needed

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • The primary work environment is an office
  • The physical demands for this position include light lifting, seeing (with a focus on reading), sitting more than 50% of the time, talking, and walking.
  • Nights spent traveling, away from home, are less than 5%.
