In this role, you will play a key role in optimizing our financial systems and processes, contributing to the continued success of our organization. You will leverage your expertise in accounting principles, financial analysis, and technology to:

  • Lead and Manage Projects: Take ownership of accounting-related special projects, ERP implementations, configurations, and upgrades. Collaborate with various departments (Operations, ERP, Technology, and Accounting) to ensure project success and impact all aspects of the business.
  • Document for Clarity: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for accounting systems, including user guides, technical specifications, and process workflows.
  • Ensure Accuracy Through Testing: Develop test plans and conduct thorough testing to guarantee accounting systems function correctly and meet specified requirements. This includes functional testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
  • Champion Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes, improve efficiency, and enhance internal controls. Work collaboratively with stakeholders to implement process improvements and drive operational excellence.
  • Reporting & Analytics Expertise: Assist with generating financial reports, dashboards, and analytics within the ERP system. Provide management with timely and accurate insights into the organization's financial performance. This may involve utilizing built-in reporting tools or integrating with business intelligence solutions.
  • Empower Users Through Training: Provide training to end-users on how to effectively utilize the ERP system for accounting purposes. Offer ongoing support to address user queries, troubleshoot system issues, and provide best practices guidance.

To Qualify:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in financial analysis or accounting systems
  • Super-user level experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (required)
  • Proficiency in accounting principles and financial analysis
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
