As a Sr. Technology Consultant - CE Functional, you will be responsible for Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE configurations and customizations. Working the Dynamics 365 Project Team and directly with the business, persons in this position will facilitate CE related discovery, design, development, and deployment for efficient and accurate use of the Dynamics CE platform with company’s mission of providing an exceptional experience to our customers and teams as primary focus.
Main Responsibilities:
Facilitate CE related discovery, design, development, and deployment activities:
- Engage in discovery with business to identify opportunities to improve system acceptance, use, efficiency, and effectiveness.
- Perform gap analysis between system functionality and client requirements.
- Document and communicate system requirements and specifications for team members and partners.
- Organizes workshops and proof of concepts in system to illustrate solution design.
- Work with QA team to document test scenarios and plans to facilitate and complete unit, solution, regression, and user acceptance testing.
Dynamics Wave and other Service Updates
- Review new features scheduled for future versions; evaluate use and implementation of same,
- Routine regression testing of updates; communication of identified issues and resolution plan to team and partners.
Development and other technical team collaboration.
- Solution configuration review and enablement
- Data and reporting support
- Detailed troubleshooting for escalated tickets with internal and external support teams
Key Requirements:
- BS in Computer Science or related degree and/or relevant work history
- 5+ years with demonstrated history of CRM implementation/configuration/advancement. Dynamics CRM or D365 CE background preferred.
- Business analysis capabilities to facilitate related discovery, design, development, and deployment activities. Outstanding analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills; ability to weigh technical solutions against the original business objectives.
- Ability to develop positive working relationships and a strong rapport with team members and stakeholders.
- Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to present and explain technical information to diverse types of audiences.
- Ability to lead and manage meetings, track requirements and progress, ensure team members are on track to meet deadlines.
- Dynamics 365 Must demonstrate knowledge and experience in CRM implementation principles, practices, and methodologies. Required hands-on configuration experience and strong working knowledge across multiple Dynamics modules preferably Marketing, Sales, Field Service, Customer Service and Omnichannel. Experience with systems connected to Dynamics 365 F&O and CE related ISVs is a plus.
