The supply chain manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the entire supply chain process, from procurement to delivery. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing solar supply chain operations and will be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely delivery of products and complex problem solving.
Responsibilities:
- Lead out in establishing processes and holding distributors and installers to a high standard of quality, timeliness, and fiscal responsibility
- Develop and implement SOP’s that align with business goals and objectives
- Manage and optimize inventory levels to ensure product availability while minimizing costs
- Engage in all Procurement activities, including supplier selection, material selection, negotiations, and problem solving
- Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions as needed
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of products
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and other stakeholders
- Analyze supply chain data to identify and implement areas for improvement
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
- Proven experience in a Supply Chain, Procurement, or Distribution role
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and supply chain management software
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
