Industrial Blaster/Painter

Well established shipyard is looking for an experienced Blaster/Industrial Painter to
join our coating division. This position will be responsible for both roles in the coatings
process.

• Sandblasting experience and industrial Painting experience is preferred, however will
train the right individual.
• Painting experience would include: operating and maintaining Graco airless pumps, pressure
pots, lines and paint guns; knowledge of measuring wet and dry film thicknesses; experience working with Alkyds, Zinc's, Epoxy's, and Urethanes.

• Blasting experience would include operating and maintaining abrasive blasting equipment, achieving desired blast cleanliness, and measuring surface profile.
• Additional responsibilities include assisting in the maintenance of the facility and equipment.
• Ideal candidate will be energetic, have a great work ethic and ability to work safely in a fast paced environment.
• Pre-employment drug screen is mandatory.


Job Type: Full-time
Regular hours Mon-Fri 7:00am-3:30pm. 

This is a full-time 1st shift position, but must be flexible to work overtime
when needed depending on project demands.
