Job Overview

Hutco Inc is seeking a skilled Blaster Painter Specialist to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Marine Coating Technician to perform blasting and painting operations utilizing marine coating to specified contract requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform blasting and painting applications as directed by supervision.
  • Understand and apply blasting and painting specifications, including blast profiles and mileage requirements.
  • Test and demonstrate the ability to hook airlines to the manifold and spray horizontal, vertical, and side to side.
  • Identify and correct blast and paint deficiencies as required by contract specifications.
  • Sand blast and demonstrate the use of each part of the blast equipment.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a blaster/painter.
  • Ability to perform all blast requirements and functions utilizing all applications.
  • Ability to identify and correct blast and paint deficiencies as required by contract specifications.
  • Ability to sand blast and demonstrate the use of each part of the blast equipment.
  • Pass a drug screen (HFT) and background check.
